Hi! I'm Sharelle, a destination wedding photographer for adventurous couples from all backgrounds, looking for someone who is warm and relaxed through their approach. For most of the year I live in Brisbane, Australia where I photograph weddings Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.  Twice a year I travel to Europe where I predominantly photograph weddings in France and Italy.

I am all about the in between moments with a dedication to document your day as it plays out as authentically as possible.
Yes you will have a balance of guided poses to capture those traditional romantic images as well as loads of natural candid moments.

If you are looking for a friendly photographer who will help you along the planning journey and will listen and be flexible in their approach then I would love to hear from you :)

My Why

I believe that wedding photography should be centred around connection and building relationships. I decided when I started photography that I didn't want to just be a photographer who shows up on the day, takes photographs, then leaves; just another vendor! I wanted to get to know my couples, their quirks and the way they show their love for each other and those around them.
Why? I want to capture your day and emotions as authentically as possible. Yes you will have plenty of beautiful traditional photographs, however you will have many more candid moments that perhaps you didn’t even realise were being captured. I want you to look back at your photographs and re-live how it felt on the day, not just at to look at some pretty pictures.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be able to capture your true selves if I didn’t take the time to get to know you. So I may be a little nosey when I try to find out how you two met or how you proposed, but let’s face it, I will be spending a lot of time with you on your wedding day so it’s important that we work well together.

from my couples

Sharelle went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and relaxed during the entire experience. She was the ultimate professional on our special day and our photos are such a joy to have. Sharelle took so much extra time and care to get to know us and what we wanted. We feel so lucky to have found Sharelle and are forever grateful for her work.

We can’t thank you enough! As we are both camera shy,

Kate

Where do I start?  I will go almost anywhere.  One of my loves is exploring and experiencing different cultures.  I love the languages, the food, the different people I meet.  My most popular destinations (so far) are France and Italy but I have also photographed in New Zealand, Fiji, USA and Australia.

Which Destinations to you travel to?

leT's begin this journey!

Whilst you can book a local photographer in the country you’re getting married in, finding someone whose work you really like might prove hard. All the couples who have booked me in the past said that having a destination photographer who really understood them and what they wanted was key. For this reason, you might consider looking at a destination photographer who can travel.

Do we need a destination wedding photographer?

This depends on where in the world you are marrying and what you require in terms of coverage. Drop me a line with some details of your day and I will contact you to hear all about your plans and how I can help.

How much does it cost for a destination wedding photographer

Gosh, there are so many places I love for different reasons.  I love going to the beaches of New Zealand because that is where my heart is (and my mother), I love the friendliness of the Japanese, I love the language in France and Italy (and can just get by with both - I attend classes to help!), I love the latin flavour of Cuba, I love Aperol in Italy and white wine in France, I love the vast greenness of Scotland and I love the open spaces in America.
