I believe that wedding photography should be centred around connection and building relationships. I decided that when I started photography that I didn't want to just be a photographer who shows up on the day, takes photographs, then leaves for my couples, just another vendor! I wanted to get to know them, their quirks and the way they show their love for each other and those around them.
Why? I want to capture your day and emotions as authentically as possible. Yes you will have plenty of beautiful traditional photographs, however you will have many more candid moments that perhaps you didn’t even realise were being captured. I want you to look back at your photographs and re-live how it felt on the day, not just at to look at some pretty pictures.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be able to capture your true selves if I didn’t take the time to get to know you. So I may be a little nosey when I try to find out how you two met or how you proposed, but let’s face it, I will be spending a lot of time with you on your wedding day so it’s important that we work well together.
